Cedar Springs Camp offers regular events specifically designed with the homeschooling family in mind! Our knowledgeable staff will provide your learners with a fun and engaging environment that caters to a multi-age audience.
Through exploring areas of our beautiful campus, and with rotations available in the Animal Park, Treasure Hunter, The Ridge and Timber Valley locations, we are able to offer a variety of instructional sessions and experiences. These could include, but are not limited to, hands-on interactions with our animals, guided nature exploring, tree climbs, fossil finding, gemstone classification, seasonal activities, team building, archery and much more!
No two Homeschool Days are the same! Every month brings a new theme and its own lineup of engaging, hands-on sessions. Pick your favorites—or make it a monthly tradition.

Every event features its own theme with different activities, outdoor experiences, and opportunities for kids and parents to explore together. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, you’ll always find something new to discover at Cedar Springs.

Session Theme: Pioneer Living
Activities: Animal Encounters, Survival Bracelet Craft, Early Logging, and Fire Building!

Time: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Suggested Ages: 5-12
Cost: $12 per attendee or $45 for the entire family (whichever is less), and kids under 4 are free! A lunch option can also be purchased for $10 per person.
NOTE:Â At least 1 adult must be present to accompany their kids throughout the day.
We will be outdoors, rain or shine, so be sure to keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly!
