About This Role

Every summer at Cedar Springs Camp, our bus drivers play a critical role in making camp accessible and welcoming for hundreds of families. With up to 15 bus routes running daily and nearly half of our campers arriving by bus, this position is essential to the success of our summer season. As a Seasonal Bus Driver, you will safely transport campers to and from camp while serving as one of the first and last points of contact each day. We hire professional drivers who take pride in their work and understand the responsibility that comes with transporting children. A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required for this role. What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a camp bus on an assigned daily route, transporting campers to and from Cedar Springs Camp.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and in excellent working condition.
• Build positive, professional relationships with campers and families during daily pick-up and drop-off.
• Follow established transportation procedures and support on-board camp staff as they manage camper check-in, seating, and supervision.
• Communicate clearly with Transportation leadership regarding route updates, safety concerns, or scheduling needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience safely operating commercial passenger vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliability.
• Professional, friendly demeanor when interacting with campers, families, and staff.
• Ability to remain calm, attentive, and focused while transporting children.
